What Is An Appraisal?
An appraisal is an opinion of value based upon research of comparable objects within the most appropriate market place. The objects are witnessed (physically looked at), measured, photographed and researched as necessary.
O'Neal's Auctioneering & Appraisals is a member of the Certified Appraisers Guild of America (CAGA). Our personal property appraisals meet the required standards of the professional Ethics and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisers Practices. Judges and Courts respect these standards.
Our valuations are based on our constant activitiy in the auction industry, education, training and experiences in appraising. We follow government and industry guidelines in writing our reports. We format our reports to the highest of industry standards to provide you with all of the answers to our appraisal needs, We provide Expert Witness for testimony in a court of law or deposition for the court. We strictly adhere to confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Types of appraisals: Insurance, Charitable Contribtions, Estate (probate of tax preparation), Liquidations, Bankruptcies, Division of assets (Divorce), Internal Revenue Service appraisals and whenever a certified appraisal of value is needed.
Certified Appraisals can be confusing. Fair Market Value, Replacement Value, Liquidation Value. All appraisals should be prepared to face a court challenge. We want to help guide you through this process to determine what type of appraisal is required.
